THE SCIENCE OF STRESS-CARE

"We as human organisms are a series of interacting multidimensional subtle energy systems, and if these energy systems become imbalanced there may be resulting pathological symptoms which manifest on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual planes." From introduction by Gabriel Cousens, M.D., to Vibrational Medicine: New Choices for Healing Ourselves, by Richard Gerber, M.D.

Bio-Kinetics:

Bio-Kinetics is a new science that eliminates the adverse effect of stress-reactions caused by physical injuries, emotional experiences, chemical insults and electromagnetic disruptions in the body.

Through a unique and patented process, it works to gently activate, stimulate and synchronize areas of the brain, nerve system and body that are subconsciously reacting to stored stress-memory patterns, causing dysfunction and dis-ease.

Bio-Kinetics is based on new scientific neuro-physiological insights and discoveries that make it possible for the first time to release accumulated biological stress, eliminate negative stress reactions and correct stored cellular stress memories anywhere in the body and mind.

Past and Present Physical and Emotional Stress Affects Your Health.

The Benefits Of The Bio-Kinetics Health System:

  1. Reduces pain, swelling and muscle spasm.
  2. Helps maximize vitality and function of the entire body by restoring and maintaining optimum integration and harmony between the body and brain.
  3. Helps restore optimum function to glands and organs; improving function, resistance and health.
  4. Stimulates the brain and helps keep it active and healthy.
  5. Corrects and improves spinal problems of all kinds.
  6. Reduces healing time from injuries, reducing the pain and swelling from sprains, strains, muscle pulls, disc problems, severe bruising and dislocations.
  7. Neutralizes allergies and chemical sensitivities.
  8. Releases negative feelings such as fears, phobias, guilt, anxieties, depression, hostility, anger and resentment.
  9. Helps restore peace, helps improve self-image and self-confidence.
  10. By balancing the body's own energy frequencies to environmental electro-magnetic frequencies, it allows for optimum adaptation to magnetic and other potentially harmful environmental electrical pollution. No need for devices.

What Is Stress?

When we think of stress, we typically think of our current emotional stress. The stress of a job, the stress of a relationship, the stress of world events, etc. This however, is not the only type of stress that can affect us. In fact, it is a very small amount of the total stress that affects our health. Living is stressful, and stress is necessary for survival. Gravity, physical activity, mental activity, etc. are all part of this essential stress.

Stress is defined as anything that causes change. It is also defined as a pressure, or force. Depending on ones level of stress, it can be the impetus for growth, maturity, strength, and adaptability; or it can break down the body's defense mechanisms, disrupt the body's ability to adapt, and even threaten the body's survival. Virtually every disease has been linked to the body's reaction to stress in some way or another.

Stress reactions can be obvious such as specific pains, tight muscles, headaches, etc., or they can be hidden, causing such things as ulcers, high blood pressure, allergies, cancer, organ malfunction, vertebral subluxation, hormonal changes, muscle imbalances, emotional problems, spine and joint degeneration, etc.

What Is A Stress-Reaction?

The memory of any stressful event is stored in the somatic viscera and complex neurological circuitry that make up the body and the brain. This means that every stressful situation, whether physical, emotional, chemical or electromagnetic, is stored as a memory within the body/brain system. This is a protective mechanism that is there to help in the future against a similar threat. As an example, an ankle injury will cause distress. As the ankle "heals" there is a residual memory of that event. This cellular "stress-memory" or "stress-reaction" can then be activated whenever the system experiences something similar to the original event such as bending the ankle in a certain way, etc. This alerts the brain to a potential risk and causes it to prepare for "fight-or-flight". This reaction may be very mild, often too small to be seen by the untrained eye, but on some level it disrupts normal function of the brain and body. This is important because the definition of health is "NORMAL FUNCTION - PHYSICALLY, CHEMICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY".

Types Of Stress-Reactions:

There are four basic types of stress-reactions:

Emotional stress-reactions come from any event that causes emotional upset or uneasy feelings. They can come from major life-changing events such as divorce, abuse, death of a loved one, etc., triggering obvious outward feelings such as pain, anger, frustration, abandonment, grief, betrayal, despair, etc. They can also come from seemingly minor issues such as being scolded by a parent, not being accepted by peers, being embarrassed in school, etc. Most stress-reactions are hidden and silent, giving no obvious sign that they are quietly affecting our health.

Physical stress-reactions come from any trauma or injury to the body such as strains, sprains, cuts, scars, head traumas, joint and spinal disc injuries, auto accidents, broken bones, falls, sports, surgeries, etc. Even if there is no pain in an area of old injury, it still can have a "reactive stress-memory". This category may also include organ weakness and malfunction such as liver problems, kidney weakness, pancreas dysfunction, heart disease, and more.

Chemical stress-reactions come from exposure to chemicals in our every day life that the body senses as harmful. There are two categories of chemical stress-reactions. Toxic chemicals are an unavoidable part of modern life, and make up one category of chemical stress-memories. Allergies are the other. The body senses a substance in the environment and automatically triggers a response based on stress-memory. This response starts as a neurological one, then the nervous system controls the classic allergic immune response. This is why it is called a "Neuro-immune" response. Clearing the neurological response stops the allergic reaction at its source.

Electromagnetic stress-reactions include such things as computer screens, high-tension power lines, cell-phones, microwave towers, etc. and are just now being accepted as a dangerous threat to health. Major power companies have recently begun posting official warnings to their customers of the harmful effects of these types of devices.

All these types of stress-reactions may seem to be different, but basically, they all have the same effect on the body, DISTRESS AND DYSFUNCTION! The combination of accumulated biological stress and current daily stress is an unhealthy (and even deadly) combination.

The Effect Of Negative Stress-Reactions On Health:

Stress accumulates in the body as memories or stress-reactions. These reactions then determine how the body reacts to stress on a daily basis. How the body reacts to stress on a daily basis determines the total effect stress has on health (just think of a past hurt or serious injury and feel how your body responds to that memory).

The complex neurological circuitry that includes the brain and body controls everything that happens inside the body. It is the master controlling system for health, healing, wellness and longevity.

"Thoughts travel through the brain cells on electrical currents (frequencies). Long strings of brain cells "light-up" with electrical energy to form complete thoughts and memories."
Brain Longevity, Pg. 123, Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D.

It is well known in science that the human brain is a complex electro-chemical organ, producing chemicals from nerve cell frequencies. Chemical imbalances come from frequency imbalances. Stress-memories result in negative frequency imbalances throughout the brain/body system that then trigger a cascade of events leading to dysfunction and, eventually disease. In this way, stress-reactions cause INTERFERENCE with the normal Brain/Body communication system, and cause INTERFERENCE with the flow of energy in, around and through the body.

Eliminating The Effects Of Stress:

Recent discoveries from fields of neurology, neuro-physiology, psycho-neuro-immunology, endocrinology and chiropractic have revealed greater insights into how this system works. A healthy body comes from a healthy brain, and a healthy brain comes from a healthy, active body. The brain needs stimulation from the body to function properly, and the body needs proper communication from the brain to function properly. This new understanding has made it possible to develop protocols to update the body's reaction to stress, re-program the stress response, and re-connect the communication pathways between the brain and body. Bio-Kinetics was born out of these new insights, and continues today as the leader in stress-reaction elimination. It is the only patented process that effectively eliminates negative stress-reaction patterns in the brain and body.

Bio-Kinetics is a new science because, prior to its inception, nothing had ever been developed to deal with the accumulated biological stress that builds up in the body. Clearing out the accumulated stress-reactions using the Bio-Kinetics protocols helps one deal more effectively with daily stress, and helps the body heal and stay healthy. The effects of stress no longer has to accumulate in the body and negatively impact health. When the body's stress reactions are cleared and the overall level of biological stress reduced, the effects are profound.

What Is The Scientific Explanation Of How Bio-Kinetics Works:

All physical matter is energy in various forms. Energy itself is vibrational frequencies that extend along the entire electromagnetic spectrum.

"I have concluded, after much study and contemplation, that the Universe and all that is in it is energy vibrating at different frequencies."Dr. Albert Einstein

There are many forms of energy vibration within cells, between cells and throughout the body. All these vibrational frequencies are interrelated and interdependent. Stress causes a disruption of these frequencies, which explains the many health problems associated with it.

It has been assumed for many years that the energy we call life was generated in the brain by chemical action, or that it came from outside of the body. This is not true. It has been observed for decades that, if a new born baby is wrapped up and not allowed to move freely, as was the case in some hospitals in the Soviet Union, these newborn babies would die in just a matter of weeks. It wasn't until recent neuro-physiological discoveries were made that we fully understood the mechanism for this. Movement of muscles, joints and the organs of the five senses converted environmental and mechanical stimulation into electro-chemical nerve energy that is sent to the brain.

A nerve impulse is measured as a frequency, which means how many times per second an impulse is sent along the nerve pathways. Nerves can be fired slowly, only a few times per second, or quickly, a few hundred times per second. The frequency of firing of a nerve is ultimately determined by the frequency with which a receptor is stimulated.

When these frequencies of nerve impulses reach the various parts of the brain, these frequencies, along with frequencies from receptor/nerve pathways from other parts of the brain and body, provide the necessary stimulation for the brain to actually function (a process called "spatial summation"). The brain and nervous system are a series of receptor/nerve pathways linked to each other in a "nerve network system." Each part of this network system depends on the frequency of firing from all other parts.

Specifically, these frequencies primarily go directly to two areas of the brain, the cerebellum and thalamus, creating and maintaining the tone, or energetic state, of these areas. These areas, in turn, relay this stimulation (as frequencies) to other areas of the brain and nerve system, ultimately determining their vibrational energetic state (or what is referred to as 'central integrative state'). For example, thalamo-cortical pathways are important for proper function of the frontal lobes (imagination, language, focus, attention, etc.), parietal lobes (sensory-motor strip, etc.), occipital lobes (vision), temporal lobes (memory, learning, smell, hearing, etc.), and the limbic system (emotions). The thalamo-cortico-hypothalamo-reticulo-spinal pathways are very important for pain modulation, proper activation/inhibition of the autonomic sympathetic and parasympathetic systems, and hormone balance. The thalamo-cortico-striatal pathways are very important for coordinated movement patterns. The cerebellum is important for balance, coordination, posture, stabilization of the individual spinal bones (having a strong, pain free and subluxation free spine), and some aspects of learning and memory.

Virtually all function of the brain, nerve system and therefore the body, depends on proper stimulation from the thalamus and cerebellum, which depend on proper stimulation from neuro-receptors in the body.

Emotional And Allergic Reactions:
(Psycho-Neuro-Immunology)

Recent understandings of the immune system, the limbic system (emotions) and the endocrine system (hormones) have revealed that these are highly interconnected and coordinated through the master nervous system. Frequencies within the brain and nerve system determine brain chemical balances (emotions), the body's hormone balances, and the immune systems allergic responses. Brain chemicals, hormones and certain immune factors are actually produced within nerve tissue, and released into the body when certain nerves are activated. Optimum frequencies within the brain and nerve system help orchestrate this perfect symphony of chemicals and immune factors to bring about optimum function and health.

This plays a very important role in our physical and emotional health, regulating our moods, modifying our addictions, modulating our allergies and boosting our immune defenses.

How Stress Affects This Receptor Driven System:

Stress causes a change in the frequency of firing of the brain, causing a "fight-or-flight" response. All life's stresses and experiences are imprinted on the conscious, subconscious and cellular memory. These memory responses, when triggered inappropriately, alter neurological function and explain the wide-spread health problems throughout the entire body associated with the stress response.

While emotional stress is the best known, physical trauma (such as fractures, sprains/strains of joints, tears of ligaments and tendons, cuts, tears and needle punctures of muscles and organ malfunctions), chemical insults (allergies and toxins), and electromagnetic reactions are all recorded in cellular memory as well.

Then, when a similar stress is encountered, the stress memory is activated, disrupting brain frequencies and causing subtle changes in the body. These changes can be anything from organ malfunctions to muscle weakness or imbalance.

These physical changes are very mild and may not appear to be significant, however the constant triggering of many stress-reactions will exceed the body's ability to adapt, cause tissue breakdown and over time will gradually wear away at your body's ability to function normally and be healthy.

These abnormal stress reactions will continue to erode your health throughout life unless eliminated.

How Is Nerve Function Restored?

When a nerve does not receive a stimulus it will begin to atrophy, a condition known as Transneural Degeneration. The longer this continues, the longer it takes to restore nerve function.

Nerves regenerate through a process called Plasticity. When a nerve pathway is stimulated, it begins to deposit new protein along each nerve. New nerve tissue grows to bridge the gap, bypassing the area of atrophy and creating new synapses. If stimulation stops before growth is completed, no further growth occurs and the pathway will begin to atrophy again. This explains why, while rare, it may take weeks, months, or even years for complete healing to occur.

How Bio-Kinetics Works:

Bio-Kinetics unique and patented approach finds hidden stress reaction patterns, then using the small hand-held New-Stim instrument, mechanically stimulates specific neuro-receptor pathways triggering a nerve response into the brain that interrupts the abnormal patterns and normalizes the frequencies within the brain.

"If part of this chain reaction of bio-electrical current is interrupted, the memory or thought becomes incomplete, or gets destroyed."Brain Longevity, Pg. 123, Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D.

Bio-Kinetics utilizes very specific contact points in the atlanto-occipital area as its primary window into the nervous system because the distribution of neuro-receptors is the highest in this region, allowing for precise brain activation.

"Small muscles close to the cervical vertebrae may have up to 500 muscle spindles/gm (muscle stretch receptors), a density almost 100 times as great as some muscles of locomotion and 5 times greater than the large dorsal neck muscles which are regarded as spindle rich."(Neck Muscle Proprioception and Motor Control.) V.C. Abrahams, 1982.

Stimulating the Bio-Kinetics contact point with the New-Stim instrument can be somewhat likened to using a defibrillator to normalize an irregular heart beat.

Development Of Bio-Kinetics:

The Bio-Kinetics procedures were developed over the past thirty-plus years by Dr. Lawrence E. Newsum of Rancho Palos Verdes, California. With the help of colleague, Dr. Donald Baune, a Chiropractic Neurologist, he was able to compile the information explaining how it works, and develop a concise and teachable program.

During these years, using his basic discoveries in conjunction with the procedures that he had developed, he found that virtually any health problem responded, from simple relief to complete healing (see testimonials).

In combination with the stress/correct protocols, Bio-Kinetics neutralizes virtually all past and present stress reaction patterns and corrects neuro-receptor dysfunctions. The memory remains but no stress reactions occur. With the new procedures developed in 2004, Bio-Kinetics can be performed in 3-7 minutes to clear physical problems (spinal problems, musculo-skeletal problems, organ malfunctions, etc.), chemical sensitivities (allergies), emotional stress patterns and electromagnetic frequency interference on most people.

As an added bonus, the Bio-Kinetics system can be used to maintain health with ongoing monitoring and care as needed.
